When asked what inspired me to re-awaken my creative side, my initial response is to say that it sprang from dressing my daughter’s wedding in 2019. While that is true, my love of all things creative started long before that, almost thirty years ago BC (Before Children!). My best friend and I (yes, she is still my best friend!) started dabbling in flower arranging which then grew into decorating wreaths and baskets which, in turn, led to many happy weekends spent at craft fairs!

Fast forward to 2019 when I offered to do the flower arrangements for my daughter’s wedding. Following a couple of trial runs it transpired I still had a creative eye and, once again, the creative fire was lit and I ended up dressing the whole wedding.

So here we are today…

My name is Jacqui and I am a mother of three. I work full-time in a secondary school as an Assistant Special Educational Needs Coordinator having worked in education for over thirty years.

Working with young people is a privilege and I get to see, at first hand, the huge benefits being creative has on a young person’s wellbeing and how lucky I am to get to experience the benefits myself. Losing yourself in a creative project helps to restore your equilibrium as well as creating something that brings joy to others.

My wish is to work with you to help you dress your event your way; to give it an individual touch, to help you bring your ideas to life and to stamp your personality on it. Seeing my daughter’s face, when she saw her own wedding venue dressed for the first time, and to see her vision brought to reality, will stay with me forever. I believe I can help you create the same joyful experience.
